I really truly don't know where the time goes. I know though that I am a horrible procrastinator.

This coming year will be the year that perhaps I can avoid procrastination..............maybe or maybe not. I am who I am and enjoy what I do.

Here are some snaps of our kids -- yes I love to remove color what can I say. But one thing is certain, I truly love my family <3

December already???

Well the festive month is here and before we know it, it will be gone. This is somewhat a very different Christmas for our family.

This year, February 26, 2011 I lost my Dad, my best friend. I miss him horribly but know he is smiling down on all of us and watching over his family.

I have taken a couple of family shots for little families this past week and am very happy with the results and know that one day they will look back at their family pictures and be comforted with the good times they had.

I will just post back views to keep their privacy lol.....I love black and white, and sepia tones. Odd angles, back view etc.

Rain and more rain....

The weather has been somewhat of a disappointment lately. We did have a skiff of snow last week....

Dull and wet with rain for the most part. After the beautiful fall colors we get this? Please! Can only hope for some nice white snow or sunshine to take some pictures.

How can one not love fall

I think fall is by far the most beautiful season. Yes summer is lovely and the flowers but there is something special about the fall season.

All the change is natural, not planted. When we have been going up and down the Fraser Canyon to North Bend these past 3 weeks it changes weekly. The trees high in the mountains have grown there on their own....or dropped as seeds by the birds. These changes are just so beautiful and natural.

Stay away rain so the maple leaves can keep changing :)

One Class Left.....

I've been taking a night school class in photography. I've learned alot and have really enjoyed it but four classes just isn't enough to learn all there is to learn....keep practicing. Tomorrow we have a field trip to Fort Langley. This will be an excellent opportunity to try some different lenses, angles and perhaps some reflection pictures if it is raining. I have a new 'brelli to take too :)

I still prefer the black and white or sepia pictures. Seems they don't show flaws or in my pug's cases the dry skin flakes from having a good scratch that they love :) But why would anyone want to take fall leaves in nothing but vibrant colors.......oh how i love fall.

I had planted some sunflower seeds very very late in the season and did not think that we would see the heads come out.............what a lovely surprise :) The bees loved them too!

Elliott's Day Out

Well it was a rather overcast day yesterday and I thought perhaps I should attempt to find some fall colors out there. So what better company if going through the bush than Mr Elliott. You see he is trained to kill bears.....one bite and the bear chokes...well

in theory that would be a good thought but in reality I would be the one wrestling the bear to protect my boy!
So we found a lovely hydrant......wanted to find one with a corn field behind but that was no where in sight.........plus corn this time of year is full of wasps which I am deathly allergic to.

Then off to the pumpkins.....they were rather interesting........along with the MUD that was traipsed into the truck after................sure you are going to wash the seats out Elliott...........

Oh I love the fall leaves. The colors are amazing and we were just a tad bit too early. Give it another week and it will be great. Going to try to hit up the Nahatlatch this weekend and see if fall has arrived there yet.

The colors are not quite through yet....but still some lovely sites.

Then came the sheep.....................

All in all it was a great afternoon on a nice fall day :)

Truck Box Dog

This dog had the most wonderful face. He/she was in the back of a truck waiting for the owner to come back from inside the bowling alley in Boston Bar. So beautiful and concerned. You can see the love.

Signed up for a photography course....let's take better pictures.......oh boy, lots to learn. Just playing around this morning with the different settings and somehow I think it was better before lol.

Olivia's Birthday

Well we are 4 today, our dear Olivia. She is just amazing and we love her to pieces :)

Though the bushes....

Well we went away to our 'other house' in the beautiful Fraser Canyon for the weekend. Our Isabella is such a funny little thing and discovered the raspberries this summer. While since the season for those are over she has moved on to beans..........the beans were planted in with the raspberries. Here is a shot of her prior to pulling the actual bean off the bush. Guess we have to fence off the garden next summer for sure!

Pugs Pugs Pugs-12paw program

Our Pug Family~Isabella-fawn girl, Elliott & Oliva with her toothy grin.

The fur flies, the snoring is tremedous, but the love is increadible. Something about the pug kisses that over shadow the above. Now I know that it will always be a pug. Got Pug? We sure do, 12 paws, and will never be pugless again.

Another great thing about Pugs is they love to have their pictures taken......Well my girls do. They come running when the camera comes out. Our boy on the other hand runs away and you have to usually get pictures of him with the telephoto lens on when he just isn't paying any attention to you.....or when you have a treat in your hand and he is looking up.......Oh and then there is the smiley face....she puts her grin on.
